1. What is protected

The website hieroglyphs.ai, its texts and photographs, the sign dictionary, the hieroglyph recognition model (its architecture, trained weights and class dictionary), the training dataset, the recognition API and the Hieroglyphs AI Android application are the property of Alexander Sulimov and are protected by copyright and related rights.

2. What you may do

You may use the website and the Android application to recognise hieroglyphs for personal, educational and research purposes, and you may link to the site.

3. What you may not do without written permission

Copy, download, extract, reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the recognition model, its weights, its class dictionary or any part of them, in any form, whether obtained from the website, the API, the application or any other source.
Use the API or the application to collect recognition results for training, fine-tuning, distilling, benchmarking against or otherwise reproducing a recognition model.
Access the API other than through the website and the official application, or circumvent its rate limits.
Use the photographs, the sign dictionary or other content of the site in other products, publications or datasets.
Use any content of the site to train machine-learning models.

No licence is granted by the mere availability of a file on this site or in the application. Copies made without permission remain unauthorised, whenever they were made.

4. Permission and cooperation

5. No warranty

The service is provided as is, without any warranty. Recognition results are automatic and may be wrong; they are not a substitute for expert judgement.

6. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
